Chapter members say issue is not dead

WINDOW ROCK — The April 10 removal of Shiprock Chapter’s elected officials over alleged financial mismanagement is illegal, according to Navajo Nation Department of Justice. However, some chapter members, including Duane “Chili” Yazzie, dispute that opinion, and the issue is far from dead.
